Strange Talk - Is It Real?

So, Strange Talk are this up and coming group from Melbourne, Aus, and they have recently been getting a lot of hype and rightly so. Their music is fun, fast, summer electro pop. They are getting a lot of heavy comparisons to Phoenix, Passion Pit and Cut Copy… But I think just from the first listen to the new self titled EP they bare a striking musical resemblance to their fellow Australian counterparts Miami Horror.

There seems to be this strong, hot, hazy, electro coming out of Melbourne at the moment. Is Australia the new France?

Is it real?
